NBD SURGICAL HUB' Barraquer Wire Speculum with Standard Wire Blades is a surgical instrument specially designed to keep the eyelids apart during ophthalmic surgical interventions such as phacoemulsification. This device is featured with a standard spring mechanism and open wire profile blades. The surgeon places the blades between the inner side of both eyelids and the surface of the eyeball. The slim design of the blades allows the surgeon to exert minimal pressure to the ocular globe while adjusting the degree of spreading. The aforementioned instrument is available in two different sizes including 10mm and 15mm in pursuit of fitting a wide range of patients.
