NBD SURGICAL HUB' Barraquer Infant Wire Speculum is a surgical device utilized by ophthalmic surgeons to retract the eyelids apart in order to optimally expose the operating site. This instrument features a slim wire structure fitted with two open wire blades. The speculum structure is slightly malleable, allowing the surgeon to manually control the instrument's degree of spreading in order to insert the blades beneath both eyelids followed by the separation of the same ones. The blades' open wire profile ensures an atraumatic insertion of the device, and their 9mm size is ideal to treat a wide range of infant patients.
